Special Town Board Meeting – Monday, November 23, 2009-6:50 pm – Linn Town Hall

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 6:50 pm. Present were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer, Holden, and Clerk Polyock. Supervisor Allis was absent. There were approximately twenty-three (23) citizens present.

Holden/Palmer motion to adopt the 2010 budgetas published with the exception of moving $4,000 from Town Board salaries to the contingency fund. Carried without negative vote.

Holden/Palmer motion to pay the three people on the police committee a $300 flat fee for their service on the committee. Carried without negative vote.

Weiss/Palmer motion to approve the wages for non-union employees per the budget at 3%. Carried without negative vote.

Palmer/Holden motion to accept the offer of $14,100 for the 550 highway truck from the last bid on Wisconsin Surplus Auction. Carried without negative vote.

Palmer/Holden motion to accept the Blackstone contract of $18,000 for all the mowing needs for 2010, 2011, 2012. Carried without negative vote.

Weiss/Holden motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:00 pm.
