Town Meeting – November 20, 2006 – 5:30 pm – Linn Town Hall

Chairman Bollweg called the Town Meeting to order at 5:30 pm. He reminded everyone to sign the poll list at the back of the room.

Sue Polyock/Eugene Behrens motion to approve the highway expenditures as proposed and published of $741,865.00. Hand vote 11- aye 19 – nay Motion defeated.

Allan Polyock/James Skarda motion to approve the highway expenditures of $541,865.00 taking out $200,000 for the purchase of a new highway truck. Hand vote 24 – aye 7 – nay Motion carried.

Sue Polyock/Mike Palmer motion to adopt the resolution to increase the chairman salary by $4,000. Chairman Bollweg reviewed with those present his responsibilities and the amount of time spent in the office. A number of citizens spoke both in favor and against. Hand vote 11 – aye 28 – nay Motion defeated.

Meeting adjourned at 6:00 pm.
