Special Town Board Meeting – Monday, October 29, 2007 – 9:00 am – Conference Room

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 9:00 am. Present at roll were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer, Jones, Holden, Clerk Polyock and CPA Pat Romenesko. Also present: Chief Dennis Wisniewski and Chief Tim Rasch.

There was one bid received for mowing from Blackstone Landscape. Jones/Holden motion to accept the bid presented at $15,920 for 2008 with the option of extending the contract subject to acceptable references. Carried without negative vote. (After the meeting was adjourned, a second bid was found in the Clerk’s folder in the Conference Room. A meeting was set for Wednesday, Oct. 31 st at 8:00 am to review the two bids.)

Pat Romenesko began the budget workshop with an overview of what was done on October 15 th and the background of where we are to date. The Board worked on the budget worksheet and finished putting together the 2008 budget.

Highway Superintendent Jim Wolfgram advised that the Board should put $15,000 in the budget for TRIP monies.

The Board set a tax levy of $2,096,528 using a 3.86% increase. The estimated mill rate will be $1.224.

Jones/Weiss motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 10:45 am.
