Monday, September 10, 2007 -7:30 pm – Linn Town Hall

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer, Jones, Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz. Supervisor Holden was absent. There were nine (9) people present.

Palmer/Weiss motion to approve the Regular and Special Town Board meeting minutes as distributed. Carried without negative vote.

Jones/Weiss motion to approve the bills including those distributed tonight. Carried without negative vote.

Plan Commission: Supervisor Weiss presented the variance request of Carol L. Bernick. The construction project is extensive and she is asking for a six-month extension of the temporary use permit with no other changes. The Plan Commission recommends recommendation. Weiss/Jones motion to approve the variance as recommended by the Plan Commission. Carried without negative vote.

Protective Services: Chairman Bollweg stated there was no meeting. The Fire Inspector attends this class annually. Palmer/Jones motion to send one member to Fire Inspector class. Carried without negative vote.

Highway Committee: no meeting

Harbor Commission: no meeting

Building & Grounds: no meeting

Public Parks: Supervisor Jones said they had met and started work on the budget. She has contacted the playground equipment vendor and installation will be complete by Oct. 8 th.

GLEA: Supervisor Palmer reported they discussed having one organization make the call for “No Wake”. They will be asking for $20,000 in the budget next year, up $500.00.

The update – Zenda Rd and Franklin Walsh St was that an adjuster has looked at it and the Town is waiting to hear from him.

Palmer/Jones motion to approve the resolution to transfer money for the bucket truck. Carried without negative vote.

Jones/Palmer motion to appoint Chief Wisniewski as Town Emergency Government Director. Carried without negative vote.

Jones/Weiss motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:41 pm.
