Regular Town Board Meeting – Monday, July 9, 2007 – 7:30 pm – Linn Town Hall

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer, Jones, Holden, Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz. There were eight (8) people present.

Jones/Palmer motion to approve the minutes as distributed. Carried without negative vote.

Jones/Holden motion to pay the bills as distributed including the Voltz bill. Carried without negative vote.

Plan Commission: Supervisor Weiss explained that Casa del Sueno is taking one small section from the limited common element of #1 and giving to #2 in order to construct a pole building. Weiss/Holden motion to approve the amendment to the existing conditional use for Casa del Sueno subject to Terry Schilling’s recommendations as recommended by the plan commission.

Supervisor Weiss explained that both parcels in the CSM proposed by Jason & Nancy Bernard are conforming parcels. He may build a home on lot 2 and sell his current home on lot 1. Weiss/Holden motion to approve the Certified Survey Map as recommended by the plan commission subject to the recommendations by Terry Schilling. Carried without negative vote.

Protective Services: no report

Highway Committee: The committee met and recommends awarding the entire project to RW Miller, low bidder. Holden/Jones motion to approve hiring RW Miller for the 2007 road work. Carried without negative vote.

Harbor Commission: no report

Building & Grounds: no report

Public Parks: Supervisor Jones reported the committee met and discussed ways they will use Tallgrass Restoration. The next meeting will be August 7 th.

Holden/Palmer motion to approve the liquor license for Deborah L. Dazell, Fischer’s On Button Bay. Carried without negative vote.

Palmer/Jones motion to approve the resolution transferring $22,763 from undesignated funds for hall lift replacement. Carried without negative vote.

Weiss/Jones motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.
