Special Town Board Meeting-Thursday, July 8, 2010-4:00 pm – Linn Town Hall Basement

Acting Chairman James Weiss called the meeting to order at 4:05 pm. Present at roll call were Weiss, Supervisors Palmer, Allis, Holden, Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz.

Holden/Palmer motion to convene into closed session per Section 19.85 (1)(b) – considering citizen complaint against police chief and Section 19.85(c) – considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of public employees – fire department. Roll call vote all in the affirmative.

Holden/Allis motion to reconvene into open session. Carried without negative vote.

Concerning the Fire Service for North Shore, Weiss would like to get coverage for 2011 in place.

Holden/Allis motion to give Acting Chairman Weiss permission to start conversation with both Williams Bay and Lake Geneva Fire Departments concerning coverage on the North Shore. Weiss is to bring back information to the Board. Carried without negative vote.

Holden/Allis motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 4:40 pm.
