Special Town Board Meeting – Tuesday, July 3, 2007-5:45 PM – Conference Room

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 5:45 pm. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer, Jones, Holden, Clerk Polyock.

Supervisor Palmer explained to the Board the damage to the church basement at N597 Zenda Road. He believes it was caused by the water rushing against the basement every time it rains and particularly during the past storm. The owner, Robert Schneider, has shored it up with steel beams for now. He has gotten two (2) bids to fix the foundation 1. Hart was $19,500 and 2. M & M Engineering was $37,652.

Discussion involved having our engineer assess the situation and determine if the Town is at fault, go back to the company who built our building, get an opinion from Atty. David Schiltz.

Jones/Weiss motion to table any decision until further investigation. Carried, Palmer voting no.

Holden/Jones motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 6:25 pm.
