Regular Town Board Meeting – Monday, May 8, 2006 – 7:30 pm – Linn Town Hall

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer, Jones, Holden, Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz. There were three (3) citizens present.

Holden/Jones motion to approve the minutes of the Special Town Board Meeting and Regular Town Board meeting both held April 10, 2006. Carried without negative vote.

Weiss/Jones motion to approve the bills as presented including the bills distributed tonight. Carried without negative vote.

Plan Commission: no report

Protective Services: Chairman Bollweg reported the committee met on May 3 rd. Palmer/Holden motion to allow the department to hold Company Officer/Smoke Reading class for Fire/EMS on June 24 th not to exceed $350. Carried without negative vote.

Jones/Weiss motion to approve exceeding $500 expenditure from donated funds account for annual pig roast fundraiser. Carried without negative vote.

Holden/Jones motion to approve writing the ODJ radio grant. Carried without negative vote.

Holden/Jones motion to table action on the Fire/EMS Department by-laws. Carried without negative vote.

There was some discussion about the small tanker truck to be housed at Williams Bay Fire Department with no action taken.

Weiss/Jones motion to allow Angela Koehn to attend IV Tech class. Carried without negative vote.

Highway Committee: Chairman Bollweg reported the committee met on May 3 rd.

Holden/Jones motion to accept the Scott Construction, Inc seal coat bid at $.729/square yard. Carried without negative vote.

Holden/Jones motion to accept the RW Miller & Sons, Inc. asphalt bid. Carried without negative vote.

Holden/Palmer motion to adopt the resolution outlining the Jurisdictional transfer agreement with Walworth County concerning County Road BB as presented. Carried without negative vote.

Harbor Commission: Supervisor Palmer reported that new signs are up and launch is running.

Buildings & Grounds: no report

Public Parks: Supervisor Jones reported a new posting sign will be put up, flowers are up and new oak trees are budding. Next meeting will be June 6 th at 7:00 pm.
