Special Town Board Meeting – Monday, April 19, 2010-4:30 pm – Conference Room

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 4:35 pm. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Allis, Holden, Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz. Supervisor Palmer was absent.

Holden/Weiss motion to adjourn into closed session per Section 19.85 (1) (c) – considering employment, promotion, or performance evaluation data of any employee – police department employees. Roll call vote all present in the affirmative.

Weiss/Holden motion to reconvene into open session. Carried unanimously.

There are approximately sixteen (16) people present.

Supervisor Allis reviewed the list of proposed launch attendants. Holden/Weiss motion to hire the launch attendants as presented on the list. Carried. Allis abstained.

Supervisor Allis stated that there were no responses to the two week ad in the Regional News for the bridge work. Tallgrass has submitted a quote and the work should start immediately for two bridges. Allis/Bollweg motion to accept the Tallgrass bid for $50,000 to construct two bridges. Carried without negative vote.

Chairman Bollweg stated the new post office lease is for six months (end of October to end of April). Weiss/Holden motion to accept the extension of the original post office lease. Carried without negative vote.

Chairman Bollweg read his letter of resignation. Weiss/Holden motion to accept Bollweg’s resignation. Carried without negative vote.

Bollweg/Weiss motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 5:00 pm.
