Annual Meeting – Tuesday, April 8, 2008 – 7:00 PM – Linn Town Hall

Present were Chairman David Bollweg, Supervisors Michael Palmer, Christine Jones, Clerk/Treasurer Sue Polyock, Attorney David Schiltz and twenty-two (22) citizens.

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. The Chairman read the order of business.

The clerk read the minutes of the last annual meeting. Christine Jones/Thomas Jacobs motion to approve the minutes of the April 2007 meeting. Carried by voice vote. Theclerk then read the minutes of the November 26, 2007 Town meeting. Larry Rademaker/Peter Jones motion to approve the financial report as distributed. Carried by voice vote.

Tess Adams, Commissioner, gave the Sanitary District report. She read the attached handout. She then fielded questions from the audience. (attached)

Old Business: none

New Business: Allan Polyock asked if this was the time issues with the Town could be brought forward. Polyock asked what the Town was doing to conserve gas. Bollweg informed him one of the squads is a Dodge which runs on only 4 cylinders when it is idling. A second Dodge will be added shortly as it is on order. He asked about the smokehouse fitting inside the fire storage shed and he asked what percentage raise the employees were given.

Christine Jones stated that Linton Road is still listed as County BB in the GPS system and truckers are confused. She asked that this be investigated.

Sue Polyock/Christine Jones motion that the next annual meeting be held on April 7, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Linn Town Hall. Carried by voice vote.

Chairman Bollweg thanked Chris Jones for her service on the Town Board.

Christine Jones/Thomas Jacobs motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:20 pm.
