Special Town Board Meeting –Thursday, March 22, 2007-8:00 AM- Conference Room

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 8:00 am. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Palmer, Jones, Holden, Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz. Supervisor Weiss was absent. Also present Steve Targo, Allan Polyock.

Jones/Palmer motion to accept the resignation of Police Chief Kerns. Carried without negative vote.

Holden/Jones motion to name Captain Dennis Wisniewski as interim Police Chief. Carried without negative vote.

Attorney Schiltz told the Board he had made a few technical changes to the border agreement. There was much discussion about the agreement and some more minor changes made. The Board indicated copies of maps must be included with the agreement. A joint meeting with the Plan Commission should take place before the agreement is presented to the City. Holden/Palmer motion to send the draft of the border agreement to the Plan Commission for a joint Town Board/Plan Commission meeting. Carried without negative vote.

There is a small sliver of land that is not buildable with many years of unpaid taxes. Holden/Jones motion to bid on this small parcel not to exceed $1,500. Carried without negative vote.

Jones/Holden motion to approve Jon Bigler as a poll worker. Carried without negative vote.

Jones/Palmer motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 am.
