Regular Town Board Meeting-Monday, February 9, 2009-7:30 PM – Linn Town Hall

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer, Allis, Holden, Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz. There were four (4) people in attendance.

Palmer/Holden motion to approve the minutes as distributed. Carried without negative vote.

Allis/Holden motion to approve the bills ($138,808.14) as distributed. Carried without negative vote.

Plan Commission: no meeting

Protective Service: no meeting

Highway Committee: no meeting

Harbor Commission: no meeting

Buildings & Grounds: no meeting

Public Parks: Supervisor Palmer stated the buckthorn and honeysuckle is near 100% removed in the Park area that is being worked on.

Environmental Agency: Supervisor Palmer stated the Board discussed gypsy moths and the salt entering the lake.

Holden/Weiss motion to spend $4,230 to make the lighting efficiency changes in the town complex. Carried without negative vote.

Palmer/Holden motion to table discussion on two cars. Carried unanimously.

Palmer/Weiss motion to approve the McGrath Consulting Group bid of $16,845 for the Fire District study subject to approval by the other two municipalities. Carried without negative vote. Study will take four to six months.

Possible start time change of Board meetings will be on March agenda.

Palmer/Bollweg motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.
