Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 3:20 pm. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer & Allis. Also present Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz, Jim Wolfgram, Leo Linhart and Wes Gable. Supervisor Holden was absent.
Wes Gable did not understand why the subcontracting language was needed. The Town is already subcontracting now. The Union has no problem of bringing someone in when needed.
Step 1 of the grievance procedure - Supervisor shall put the decision in writing. If it is not timely, becomes mute. Process should begin when become aware of the grievance. If grievance not filed or responded to within seven (7) days becomes mute. If not responded to - the grievance is given away.
Article 16 - OK with union to include.
Article 20 - Union has a problem with 40% contribution. They are not opposed to paying something. Would offer 10% for whatever cost is for new hire. This would need to be under section 125 (pretax).
The Town will offer a raise of 3%, 3%, 3%. The union will agree to 3% across the board.
The Union would like the Town to look at their policy.
Weiss/Allis motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 4:45 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Sue Polyock, CMC/WCMC
Clerk/Treasurer
