Monday, January 9, 2006 - Special Town Board Meeting – 6:30 pm – Linn Town Hall

Chairman Bollweg called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Present at roll call were Chairman Bollweg, Supervisors Weiss, Palmer, Jones, Holden, Clerk Polyock, Atty. Schiltz.

Jones/Weiss motion to convene into closed session per WI. Statute 19.85 (1) (e) – discussion of collective bargaining agreement with police union and WI. Statute 19.85 (c) – considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation of a public employee. Roll call – Weiss, aye Palmer, aye Jones, aye Holden, aye Bollweg, aye

Jones/Holden motion to reconvene into open session. Carried unanimously. Open session at 7:15 pm.

Weiss/Jones motion to hire Jeff Miskie as the Information Systems Coordinator for the Town of Linn at an hourly rate not to exceed the amount paid to the previous Coordinator. Carried without negative vote.

Weiss/Palmer motion to hire Joyce Pagel as the police data entry clerk at $11.50/hour with the understanding the job will not exceed thirty (30) hours per month. Carried without negative vote.

Jones/Holden motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:20 pm.
