Linn Sanitary District Business Meeting November 14, 2007
Present: T. Peters, J. Livingston, T. Adams, Mark Kolsczaski, Richard Scholze, Karen Nordsieck.
- Ted Peters called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM
- Public Hearing Regarding 2008 Budget was Open at 7:05PM
No one commented regarding the budget

- T. Peters opened the meeting to Public Comments
Lou Benedetto from Oak Shores asked questions regarding future South Shore sewer lines and
Hook up to either Fontana or Walworth. Academy Road, Hwy B through Walworth is the route presently being studied at this time. We would buy capacity at the Walworth Plant.

- Pat Romenesko C.P.A. spoke regarding Audit and New Audit Standards.

- Jeff Miskie spoke about web site and design.
Update website, emails, Staff updates, change first page.Format ok. Jeff suggested links on front page.
Jeff suggested phone numbers due to emails being vulnerable to spammers
Costs would be basically unchanged.
List Auditor, Engineer, and Attorney Firms Not individuals. ( for cut and paste)
North Shore and South Shore letters on Web site. Ted will be in contact with more for the web site.

- Discussion regarding North Shore letter and meeting.
Mark discussed the different sewer costs to the home owner.
- LSD Inspection Grade Data Base-update is done. Jim is going to go thru and check all illegal listings. Jim will put data on a disc. The County can go thru and check and update all addresses. Ted suggested sorting the database by date or by tax key #. Give older inspected properties to county in batches.
- T. Peters attended FWWPCC meeting. They are still planning on upgrading the plant and approve of our coming into the plant. Ted and Mark met with public works director of Walworth, Bruce Nelson, to discuss the route of the sewer line. Going south of town seemed easiest (Ridge Rd.) A new pump and generator would be needed.
- GIP- Tess to speak to Sue Polyock and meet with me to get the monies into the GIP.
