Present: T. Peters, J. Livingston, Amy Zott(Attorney), and Karen Nordsieck

  1. T. Peters called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM.
  2. Public Comments. No public present.
  3. Motion to accept July 8, 2009 LSD Meeting Minutes. T. Peters/ J. Livingston CU
  4. Motion to accept July 2009 Treasurers Report. J. Livingston/T. Peters CU
  5. Old Business
    1. Motion to table any Action on Facilities Plan and Waste Water Alternatives for the southwest portion of the District due to the absence of Mark Kolsczski the engineer. J. Livingston, T. Peters CU
    2. Second letter re: illegal systems was discussed. It was agreed to send it out when the list is refined certainly by the end of the summer no later by the end of Sept. T. Peters will email Rick Dorgay the Sanitarian to get his list of new permits. The letter we have is good we just need to put it on letterhead, T. Peters said. Ted also said he will go through his list of names and refine it and email it to J. Livingston and T. Adams.
    3. Motion to pay $100.00 invoice to reimburse GLEA for database list of District properties.

  6. New Business
    1. Discussion and action on bills.

    1. T. Peters discussed new letter received from illegal system property owners. All are to remain on the list. O’Keefe, Rayner, Fischer and Hanson
    2. Review of list to receive letter discussed above.
    3. A Newsletter for the affected area should go out sometime in Sept. after commissioner’s vote on the amendment concerning the Facilities Plan and Waste Water Alternatives for the Southwest portion of the District.
    4. The new phone line for the District at GLEA was discussed. T. Peters will continue to investigate.
    5. Commissioners Report.

    T. Peters received a letter from Pat Grove the county nurse and the environmental health officer from the county. The letter talks about the water runoff and flooding in the Robinson Hillside Creek and the incidence of cancer. Ted distributed the letter with a map. There are 10 septic systems that will be replaced. T. Peters will wait to hear more from the county nurse.

    T. Peters also discussed the GLEA Car Rally on Oct. 3 rd.
