LINN SANITARY DISTRICT BUSINESS MEETING – May 9, 2007

Business meeting called to order at 7:00 pm.

J. Livingston motioned to approve the minutes of the March 14, 2007, business meeting. T. Adams seconded. CU*.

J. Livingston motioned to approve the March and April treasurer’s reports. T. Adams seconded. CU.

Mark presents memorandum dated 5/1 concerning updated costs of serving area 9 with sewer (memo attached).

Discussions held with Dawn and David of Ehlers & Associates. Submitted proposal for services related to financing for governmental sewer project dated May 9 (brochure/letter attached). Ted said we'll have to come to a consensus and this information helps.

Brian Stanley working on Geneva Town facilities planning—moving ahead with it. Their next meeting is May 14 and T. Peters is attending.

Newsletter and info mailing is being put together for summer mailing.

Discussion and action on part-time help--Getting new secretary, hopefully by June 1.

Update on GIS intern project -- Good project for intern, converting numbers to seconds in our database.

Annual meeting update --17 people. Talked about project. Cluster mound interest.

Short meeting.

Insurance -- District under town's insurance. Stay with what we have until we occur more assets or debt.

Commissioner’s Report – Contacting county to start up the maintenance program. Phone calls have been favorable. County dropped fee.

Set next business meeting -- June 13th next meeting.
