LINN SANITARY DISTRICT

April 14 , 2010

Present: T. Peters, Tess Adams, Rich Scholze(Attorney), and Karen Nordsieck

1. T. Peters called the business meeting to order at 7:02 PM.
   
2. Public Comments. No Public Present.
   
3. Motion to accept March 10, 2010 LSD Meeting Minutes. T. Adams/T. Peters CU
   
4. Motion to accept March 2010 Treasurers Report. T. Adams/ T. Peters CU
   
5. Old Business
   1. The commissioners had heard nothing about the newsletter.
   2. Ted Peters passed out the letters he had written for signatures. The letters consisted of Thank You letter to those who had upgraded their system, another letter with a time line to those owners who had recently purchased their property and knew nothing about the need to upgrade their system, and a letter to those in the Southshore, who had not received any letters. Ted had lists with each letter that would be used for labels. Karen would take the letters and get Jim’s signature then copy and mail.
      
6. New Business
   1. . Discussion and action on bills.

   Motion to pay March Bills as presented T. Adams/T. Peters CU

2. No scheduled meeting with the Sanitarian yet. Ted will keep calling Rick and set something up in May for the commissioners to turn over the list of illegal systems.

7. Commissioners Report . T. Peters discussed ground water and well testing. Rich Scholze mentioned 60.77 had broad language in the general powers that would permit the District to pursue well testing.
   
8. Future Agenda Items. 5b, 6b, well testing.
