Linn Sanitary District Business Meeting – February 21, 2007

Business Meeting called to order at 7:02 pm by T. Peters.

Public Comments: Chester Griewahn present.

J. Livingston motioned to accept the minutes of January 17th. T. Peters seconded. CU.*

T. Peters moved to accept the January Treasurer’s Report. J. Livingston seconded. CU.

Old Business: T. Peters motioned to accept the cost sharing agreement with the town of Geneva for facilities study area on the north shore of Geneva Lake. J. Livingston seconded. CU.

New Business: J. Livingston moved to authorize payment of bills presented. T. Peters seconded. CU.

Pat Romenesko, accountant’s letter of intent dated February 15, 2007, reviewed and

T. Peters moved to accept his services for our annual audit for 2006. J. Livingston seconded. CU. Secretary to drop of files and records this week so he can get started.

Discussion held on a UW-W student GIS project which would involve adding POWTS locations from our inspection program as longitudes and latitudes into a GIS layer for the County. Have not heard anything back from Walworth County. Possibilities include developing the layer at UW-W and merging it with the County’s GIS when completed.

Commissioners’ Report: T. Peters asked about workmen’s compensation and if the District has this coverage through the township of Linn. There is a FWPCC expansion committee meeting on the 28 th, Wednesday, and T. Peters will report back on it. It was confirmed for Chester that the money for the cost sharing agreement would come out of capital funds’ account.
